Roof Cleaning Chippenham
Across Chippenham's estates, concrete tiled roofs that have gone years without a clean are often green with moss, especially on north-facing slopes and near the town's parks and river. Roof cleaning in Chippenham clears the growth away and leaves the roof looking tidier and draining properly.
We cover Chippenham from our base near the Bristol and Bath border. Every roof clean begins with a free survey and a fixed price in writing, carries a ten year guarantee, and you pay nothing until the work is finished and you are happy.

How Much Does Roof Cleaning Cost in Chippenham?
The cost of roof cleaning in Chippenham is set after a survey and depends on the roof size, the amount of moss and the access.
The main things that affect the price are:
- The size of the roof
- The height and pitch of the roof, and the access needed
- How much moss and growth has built up
- Whether the roof is tiled or slated
- Whether the gutters are being cleared as part of the job
- The volume of moss and debris to take away
- Whether a garage or extension roof is being cleaned at the same time
Every roof clean is priced after a free survey, and you get a clear, fixed price in writing before any work starts.

Roof Moss Removal in Chippenham
Concrete tiles have a textured surface that moss grips easily, and on many Chippenham homes it has built up thickly along the lower courses. We remove it from the tiles and ridges and clear the debris away.
Soft Washing
Soft washing then cleans the roof at low pressure, lifting grime and staining from the tiles without a high-pressure jet, which suits concrete tiles that have weathered over the years.
Roof and Gutter Cleaning
As part of the clean, we clear moss and debris out of the gutters and downpipes, so the rain drains away rather than overflowing onto the walls of your Chippenham home.
Why Moss Is Worth Removing
Left alone, moss keeps concrete tiles wet through the winter and eventually washes into the gutters, blocking them. Clearing it keeps the roof drier and the gutters flowing.
Roofers, Not Just Cleaners
We are roofers, not just cleaners. While we are on a Chippenham roof we look at the tiles, ridges and verges, and if something needs attention, such as a cracked ridge or a slipped tile, we will tell you and can fix it.
