Most leaks come down to a handful of things: slipped or cracked tiles, worn mortar on the ridge, or tired lead around a chimney or valley. Left alone, a small gap lets water into the timbers and ceilings, and the repair only gets bigger. We find the actual source rather than sealing over the symptom, and we tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or whether the roof is near the end of its life.

No two roofs are the same, so we price each job on its own after a survey. The main things that move the price are:

Whether the fault is one tile or a longer run
Access, and whether a ladder, tower or scaffold is needed
The cost of matching materials on older roofs
Whether lead or mortar work is involved

Do you do emergency call-outs?

We prioritise leaks and storm damage that are letting water in. Call us and we will get you booked in and, where needed, make the roof safe quickly.

Can you fix a leak you cannot see from the ground?

Yes. We get up onto the roof to inspect it properly. Ceiling stains often appear a metre or more from where the water is actually getting in, so a close look matters.

Is it worth repairing or should I replace the roof?

We will tell you straight. If a roof has years left, a repair is the right call. If the felt has gone and tiles keep slipping, we will explain why a re-roof works out cheaper over time.

Will my insurance cover storm damage?

Often it will. We are happy to provide a written report and photographs of the damage for your insurer, which usually makes the claim straightforward.
